Is eating snow nutritious?

I ask the question because it seems to be the only thing the kids will eat willingly! We got about 3-4" of snow yesterday and we spent a good portion of the morning eating snow, laying in it and attempting to make snowballs (it wasn't good packing snow).

As all good Michiganders know, after you play outside in the snow you must come in for some good hot chocolate. The kids gobbled up the marshmallows on top and then drank every last drop. Yum! I had Roman use the special bear mug that I remember my mom and grandma using with us. The mug has a little ceramic bear hidden inside and when you drink the hot chocolate, you slowly uncover the bear ... first his ears, then his head. It's too cute, I'm tempted to bring it to work for my morning coffee.

I obviously need to either get my eyes checked or a refresher in elementary reading... I first thought it said you had Roman drink from a "beer" mug and I was trying to understand. Oh silly me... thank goodness I figured it out :D

Too funny! I thought Meghan mispelled - see where my mind is at these days :), and I thought this is way "not Meghan". Then I saw the "bear". Great post - made my night seeing kids in the snow! Colleen
