Cereal City Christmas

We started the festivities in Battle Creek by going to dinner with the Bonfiglio-Schuemann-Zaplitny-Scheid-Lehner clan. The dinner was great, the kids were good and the conversation was nice. It's a big crowd but its fun to see everyone together in the same place celebrating Christmas together.

Next stop on the holiday tour was to my parents house. My mom had the house decked out beautifully this year, three separate trees and lots of decorations ... the kids were in a winter wonderland. Of course the had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Britt and Poppa Jim, but we all missed Aunt Abby and Uncle Ben. They're stuck in Florida studying their butts off in grad school.

The Bonfiglio Family Christmas was next and it was resplendent, decadent and lots of fun! The gifts were amazing and so was the food. We spent the morning opening gifts and then the rest of the day enjoying them and hanging out with the family. That evening we played a rousing game of Cranium - a Bonfiglio favorite!

Thanks to everyone for the thoughtful gifts, cards and treats, we had a fantastic Christmas! The 2009 year was good to us and we are looking forward to a happy, healthy 2010 for all!
