Lions and Tigers and Bears ... Oh My!

Yesterday we made our first visit to the Detroit Zoo and since Baba & Papa were up for a visit, they came along too. Not only does the zoo have a ton of animals, it also has beautiful gardens throughout the entire thing. Roman loved seeing all the animals. At each new exhibit he would say, "I get in there!"



The polar bear tunnel was by far everyone's favorite exhibit. Check out this giant polar bear hanging out on top of the tunnel. Everyone was in awe!

The Reptile Museum and Amphibiville were my favorite places. Go figure ... I love frogs & turtles! Roman had a great time looking in all the aquariums. In one of them he saw a little goldfish (which was most likely lunch for some reptile) and he said "Nemo!"
