Our neighborhood had its annual Independence Day Parade and Picnic the other day and this is the first year that we were able to attend. A bunch of people from the neighborhood turned out for the parade and awards were given for the most decorated stroller, most patriotic, etc.
The kids got decked out in their fourth of July clothes too.

While the kids and I were at the parade and picnic, Carl was on the annual Walleye Charter Fishing Trip. The trip is arranged by Carl's great uncle Les, who has been taking Carl fishing for the past 13 or so years. This year Grandpa Bonfiglio (or Papi as Roman calls him), cousin Ben, Les and Carl caught 25 walleye. All the guys got to take home a share of the catch ... ours is gone already! YUM!

I've been quite prolific in my blog postings today, but I had a few photos that just didn't seem to fit anywhere else. Just a few random snapshots from the past two weeks.
