Summer Fun

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, cards and help while I've been down and out with this hernia surgery. I'm getting better everyday but its been a slow go for a while. Thank God for my awesome husband, I would be a wreck without him. Carl told the kids that they have to be gentle with me, so Roman said, "Okay, I'll be gentle. I won't put cars on her head." See why its a good thing I have Carl around ... I'd have cars all over me otherwise!

The kids have been great. Ruthie (our little Mama's girl) has had a little trouble adjusting to the fact that I can't pick her up all the time, but she'll survive. Roman keeps tell her, "No, Ruth - Mama's sick." I think he loves being able to tell her no, its seriously one of his biggest joys in life.
