The common theme for this posting is water - Carl's annual fishing trip and fun at the local pool. For the past 13+ years, Carl has gone walleye fishing with the same charter boat company (Hooked Up) out of Monroe, MI. This past February we lost a key member of the fishing crew, Lester Bunce. Lester, who was Carl's great uncle, was a fantastic man and an excellent fisherman. He was the reason all the guys got together for a day of fun and fishing. This year, the fish trip was held as a memorial for him and what a perfect day it was!

An action shot ... we got a live one on the line!A couple weekends ago we got moving pretty early and took the kids to the local pool. We were pretty much the only family there, so the kids got free rein. This was the first time we had an opportunity to play outside in the water park area and it was definitely cool.
