Rubber duckie you're the one!

We had a busy little Saturday which started at the Royal Oak Creative Arts Studio. Roman (and a few other kids from our parent group) listened to the Eric Carle book, 10 Little Rubber Ducks. This was the inspiration for their pottery work of art. Roman really got into the painting and the pottery teacher was really cool and patient with the kids.

While Roman was working on his masterpiece, I worked on my own creation. I picked out a small plate with the idea that I could get the kids to put some handprints on it. I had a hell of a time trying to get Ruthie to give me a few good handprints, but I think it turned out pretty good.
