Potty Time ... Excellent!!

Roman's foray into the world of potty training has been successful. We've tried to get him interested in the potty a few times in the past with no luck. Then two weeks ago, he tried it and things have been going pretty well so far. Of course we've had a few hiccups, but overall he's been pretty receptive to it (the bribery helps too).

As you can imagine, we've had some funny moments. The other night we were trying to encourage Roman to go #2 on the potty. He was giving it his best try, but then tells Carl, "The poop won't come out of its house!!"

In order to give him some incentive to keep up his potty training efforts, we made a sticker chart. It seems to help - Roman loves stickers and this way I don't end up with stickers stuck in random places all over the house. He is rewarded with two stickers for going #2 and one sticker for going #1. The picture below is an early picture, now the chart is covered with Lightning McQueen stickers, thanks to a big encouragement present from Grandma!
