Showering Bambino Schuemann

In honor of Bambino Shuemann (arriving March 2009) and her beautiful mother, Mimi, I hosted an "All things Italian" baby shower this past weekend. The guests noshed on an antipasto platter and had a few drinks. Then we enjoyed some stuffed shells (recipe courtesy of Papa) and salad, which was followed by a delicious cannoli cake! I'd love to take credit for the delicious cake, but all praise belongs to the Livonia Italian Bakery. I would highly recommend this cake ... yummy! We had a great night.

Baby Schuemann: with a mom like Mimi, you're going to be a lucky little peanut. Can't wait to meet you in March.
