Fall is here ...

Today is the first day of Autumn - wow, summer just flew by. Next week I start back to work, so this is officially my last week home full time with the kids. I was so lucky to be able to get an extended maternity leave, but the time sure went fast.

Roman's getting the last of his baby teeth (the dreaded two year molars) and boy are they causing him some grief. Besides being a little clingy and not really wanting to eat much, he seems to be getting through it okay. We just come up with new diversions and as you can see from these photos, Roman has discovered stickers. The other day I went to Target with a few stickers on my shirt too. I'll bet I looked cool!

Tallest tower challenge winner: Roman!

We worked in the yard most of the weekend. We're attempting to grow some grass and shape up the yard before the winter. Carl has the front yard looking pretty good and now we're going to get the backyard in shape. That reminds me of a funny thing Roman says. When he's taking a bath and wants water poured over his back, he says "backyard". When he wants water on his front, he says "frontyard" and although he hates getting his hair washed, that is called "topyard".

What a helper!
