Nature Walk

I love going "up north" ... as a Michigander I think I'm just hard-wired to need some time away from southern Michigan and escape to the great and beautiful northern parts. We're fresh off a recent vacation to Boyne Falls were we spent four wonderful and relaxing days. I have too many photos to cram into one post, so I'll spread them all over a few postings. The excessive photo taking was due primarily to the beautiful scenery but also because we got a new lens for our camera (thanks for the advice Olivia).

Leading off our nature walk ... Mr. Explorer himself.

I couldn't resist posting this photo, she's walking just like George Jefferson

Grandpa's are always good for a shoulder ride

Mommy-daughter love

This is as good as it was going to get

Very serious

Roman and Dad pretending to be a tree
Not to be outdone ... Grampa and Ruthie, very tree-like

My boys

What a great hike ... more photos to come, stay tuned.

All of these photos are great! This makes me so homesick. I can't wait to put our kid on a plane for a Michigan fall experience. Love you guys so much!
