If the gloves fit ...

... then wear them constantly! Roman was helping Carl with some yard work this past week and he wanted some work gloves like Daddy wears (as a side note, Carl has been fighting an uphill battle with our shady, root-filled lawn since we moved in to our house six years ago). Well I found some cute little toddler work gloves while the kids and I were at the grocery store and Roman hasn't wanted to take them off since. He wore them in the car on the way home, while he ate lunch and then while he took a nap (as you can see below). Luckily I can get him to take them off before he goes to the bathroom.

Roman has been such a Daddy's boy lately. Beside wanting to do everything he does - work in the yard, cook dinner or play basketball - he loves to cuddle up next to Carl and just be near him. At dinner the other night Roman leaned over to Carl and said, "You're my best friend Dad"... what an adorable little angel.
